Weekly Mission Schedule
Monday – Galaxy of Genres
Students explore a genre they don’t normally read.
Encourage discussion about genre characteristics.
Tuesday – Fuel Up with Facts
Students read nonfiction and respond to at least one fact learned.
Quick written response, partner share, or exit ticket.
Wednesday – Partner Power Boost
Students read with a partner to build fluency and comprehension.
Encourage turn-taking, discussion, and helping with tricky words.
Thursday – Read in Your Orbit
Students choose a fun or flexible place to read.
Focus on stamina and engagement.
